And so it begins, dun.dun.dun...

Well after much delibertaion (not really), I've decided a master's program it is.  The deliberation being: do i really want to do all this work and spend lots of money and put off a family longer, or do nothing and continue working until AJ is done and maybe do it later? After a very stressed out AJ and I talked about it, we decided that it would be a good back up and money maker until he was done with school.  Enter decision in the affirmative.

Now to the more interesting stuff, well to me anyway:

Last weekend we had a family get together for two reasons.  My uncle was going to get married but called it off, and everyone was going to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday.  Friday night we had a dinner party and hung out for a while.  Really yummy food and cake, then AJ and I spent the night at the ranch and drove to Las Vegas early the next morning to get our road bikes serviced, get my hair did, and get our car detailed.  After we dropped the bikes off we went and ate at Panera Bread, easily one of the most delicious sandwich shop bakery places, yum. We then killed a bunch of time before my hair appointment with AJ's cousin Leah.  We were going to have lunch with Tyler and Alison but only had time for desert, but we at least got to see them.  After that we spent nearly 3 1/2 hours waiting at a Fabulous Freddies lobby for our car to be detailed.  It sucked but our car got very clean.  We left Vegas at around 8 (vegas time) that night drove to AJ's parent's house to see them for a little bit, or so we planned.  However, we ended up staying the night because we were too tired to drive home.  It was fun seeing them, they made a huge breakfast the next morning and we hung out most of the day, then drove home and watched Cheers the rest of the night. 

What about my grandma's birthday you ask?  Well, we didn't go.  It was the last weekend for a free service on our bikes and we had everything else planned for that day too, but we're going to her cabin this weekend and celebrating birthdays there, which should be fun.  I heard that it went really well and sounded like a lot of fun, so I'm sad I missed it.
