HALLOWEEN.... MUWAHAHAHAHA!

BOO!

This year we did a few fun things for Halloween.... We didn't buy any candy though because we don't get trick or treaters and Sam doesn't come over too often anymore to eat it for us.  I know, boring right?  Oh well, at least I didn't have to pack on pounds from the candy.  So there's a bright side.

Every year we buy pumpkins like two days before the spooky holiday and are always angry at the slim pickins.  This year we bough pumpkins two whole weeks before, but we didn't carve them until the night before Halloween so they wouldn't get all nasty and rotten. We had lots to choose from and we got some perfect ones.

The weekend before, we went to our friend's party in Brian Head, where I'm happy to say it was snowing! Woot!  It was a lot of fun.  We were worried that we would have to leave super early because of how much it was snowing, but it stopped and we were able to stay and enjoy all the festivities.  Our friends made chili and planned lots of games.  No one brought kids so it was really fun.  Oh! And we got to play sardines! :)  Their condo had lots of places to hide so it was a challenge to find people.  We also bobbed for apples (AJ and I didn't, cause that's gross.  All the people's spit, ICKY!), and played other fun games.  AJ even had fun, so we're glad we went.

Halloween weekend was AJ's family's pomegranate fest and his cousin girlfriend was having a baby shower, so we decided to spend the weekend in Overton.  There was good food and family so you can't go wrong with that right?!  We carved pumpkins and took pictures with them, we were going to take them home but when we woke up Halloween morning the dog had knocked them off the ping pong table overnight and they were smashed to pieces, so bummer.  Then we proceeded to have an Office marathon during the day and ate some delicious chicken noodle soup and spinach dip made by AJ's mom Arta.

All in all, it was a fun holiday!  Hope you enjoyed yours.... HAPPY belated HALLOWEEN!

:)
